Blogging isn't new to me, as I have kept up my granddaughters blog for two years now. Check out www.prayforbabyisabel.blogspot.com However, what I do want to do is start to talk with all of you. I want to be open, kind and let you have your say... I want to discuss the issues that matter to women, hear your concerns and provide you with resources should you need them!
Feel free to chat with me.... let's chat here, share your thoughts and concerns.... but please... respectfully do so. I will keep my values here so if I think that you are hurting someone with the things that you say, I will politely as you not to do so and remove your comments. Love is my pursuit, although I must admit, I haven't mastered that yet!
So, here are the topics I would love to talk about....
1. Immigrant women trying to integrate into Canada's social culture... we welcome you and invite the beauty of your culture, but we want you to understand ours as well!
2. Resources that you would like me to pursue on your behalf ie: people you would like me to interview, resources that meet our strict criteria ( see the home page) www.unlockingsecrets.com or women or men owned companies that have a social consciousness and are providing quality products or resources that will benefit you.
3. Change... we all resist it... let's talk about how to manage it.
4. The abuse of power... my deepest concern. What do I mean by the abuse of power? Leadership that misuses their power to intimidate and control others. This can be from your immediate boss, teacher, family member, organization etc. But PLEASE.... don't do what they do and repeat the same behaviour here....let's talk about what TRUE LEADERSHIP is... like servant hood! Let's model for those that do abuse power, what needs to be done instead....
5. Women's issues that are not being addressed well.
